I'm joining the marines fellas, I'm training now..I can't enlist quite yet but someone I know is helping me out until then..8months till I can officially enlist. Holla back at ya boy.

I didn't reply before, because I really didn't know what to say, other than the obvious. But I'll say it anyways: It's a big decision and I wish you luck man. Now, I'd like to say something not related directly. I feel it's a good spot and time to mention it because it's actually something that's been gnawing at me for a while, now... ...I'm always torn about the armed services. I feel like it isn't for me, but on the other side there are people out there that have no choice about the violence that is in their lives--it obviously isn't for them either and it happens regardless. Someone told me once, that you'd do what you have to do when the time came. And I also support our country because I live here. Heh, I feel awkward typing this because I haven't actually discussed it before. I don't know whether or not to feel disgusted by how I feel. I want to be patriotic, but I don't feel right expressing it the way I see it expressed by other people.

I want to make a difference, even if it means dying in the process.
