SNIPER - with tom beringer. Fucking GREAT movie Sniper 2 - pretty good too Clear and Present Danger - tom clancy movie / book..harrison ford. reciprocity bitch! Saving Private Ryan Full Metal Jacket Apocalypse Now Casualties of War (my least fav but its ok) We Were Soldiers (GOOD one, smell gibson) PLATOON (GREAT MOVIE) The Deer Hunter (not so much a war movie but shows the effects of war on people, russian roullette scenes are crazy) Behind Enemy Lines (TIGHT) Three Kings (its ok) Band Of Brothers miniseries - probably the best ive seen yet. very, very, very good show. they sell it as a dvd boxed set. they have a lot of historical accuracies and battles taking place on location...good sniper action good mortar action..all around great..made by spielberg so you know its good. think private ryan but a tv miniseries. Jarhead - didnt see it heard it sucked Red Dawn..hah this movie rules!! Commies invade the US and nuke our shit ... but a rogue band of bastard teenagers armed with AK's and RPG's from looted commie bodies survives in the mountains and does guerilla warfare on the bastards. The MEC chopper(hind-d) shoots a bitch up in this movie, its great Pearl Harbor (ghey)

Shooter.....reminds me of what playing BF2 would be like in real life.......hehehe Especially the opening scene.

SHOOTER was excellent Badad! i saw it last night. you are so right about the opening scene. str8 outta battlefield. hell hes a fucking god like sniper. i love how he hammers em out in the snow and blows that guys arm off.

The ROCK FMJ The Matrix Revolutions - (reminds me of clan matches when we are behind, LawL!) Austin Powers 1 & 2, and Hotshots...they have military themes to 'em.

SPR is probably the best war movie I've seen. Mission Impossible 3 is pretty good fun too, although that more action than military. There wasn't much of a plot but the stunts were good. Just seen die hard 4, Bruce Willis ftw! :D

Children of Men not a military movie but, it has some of the elements in it (i.e. the filming itself). i just watched this for the second time on VoD (video on demand--comes with Charter's service--saw it in theaters when it was on) and this just trips me the fuck out. it's like this grim look at what would happen if the world population became infertile/unable to bear children. this movie has some really hardcore moments in it. especially the refugee camp--which is more like a concentration camp. and the music has capacities to tear my eyes up. this movie scores big-time with most critics, also. imo, it is up there with Saving Private Ryan in terms of the filming

I've seen children of men and your view is exactly the same as mine. The refugee camp really showed me what anarchy was like, the craziest guys are the ones who get into the most powerful positions. Very good film.
