Me v.s. xD12x (the Disgusting Dozen)
I had the unforunate happenings of sharing a game room with half of the D12. They started TK'ing me cause I was nearing a flag and they thought I was going to take it. xD So from that point on, it was 2 groups v.s. 1 on the two games I played with them. I had the enemy shooting me AND a whole half a clan on my ass as well. I handled it gracefully by letting them shoot me while it drug their stats down. The funny part during the game, was at one point, a glitcher playing for them was trying to lag me out of the game and he inadvertely took four of the clan members out instaed. The intersting thing I heard from them was when I was tryng to join a side, I overheard some of the members commenting on the sound of me trying to join one of the sides. That *click* soundbyte you hear when pressing the A button to confirm selection. I didnt have my mic on - it wasnt even hooked up to my controller, so I knew they weren't hearing it from my speakers. I wonder if its part of a glitch when people are glitching in a game. I had been toying with this trick a while ago and fouind it does work - when you start seeing the signs of becoming a potential target for lag-out, drop to all fours and dont move for a good 15 seconds. I found this very effective, also if your screen is seeing a lot of action during this time, like rapid tank or chopper fire flying in the air, face away from all that action too. this worked out for me in the past and also when D12 tried to lag me out three times. :)

wtf, you can be SINGLED out? that's gay.. can you elaborate more on the signs and do you know exactly how you do it? and i think that has happened to me several times, recently.

Yeah, I played With xD12xBlindside..That ass TKed me a lot because I was #1 in the game overall and our team was losing and he was yelling and shit..xD12x Sucks ass..garbage glitching mofos.

i was talking about being singled out for a boot out of a server. but being singled out by others sucks ass.. especially on your own team

The signs I've notice of lag-out: -Your "teleporting" back and forth while running (the obvious one) -Allies/enemies are doing the same as above while your standing in one spot or running as well. -Your standing next to a body (living or killed) and its doing that crazy "swimming" flailing arm and hand motions - the choppers firing is doing a connect-the-dots motion in the air. These are some I can think of off the top of my head. The only one I havent been able to escape and its quite a stealthy one, is when your trying to get into a vehicle - jamming on the A Button to get in it but nothings happening. I guess if it doesnt let you in right away thats the sign of the server losing connection.

I have presented this info to someone that has experience with this in other FPS games and I have been told that this may be packet flooding. they are able to gain access to your connection, I.P. or xbox console via a message or even adding them to your friends list. Like a DOS/DNS attack/ or Denial ( this is where they send these massive amounts of data packets) This can lag out your connection/Xbox. Apparently, the newer or better your cable modem/router are, the better chance you have from blocking these attacks as they have better technology built in to deny these attacks. This sounds about right because everytime this happens, I have to power off my xbox to get connected again. Lately since I got a new Modem, i havent seen this. I will keep an eye out and if my modem seems to be preventing it, I will let you all know what kind it is.

Well, it seems that this is still happening regardless of my modem or getting down on all fours to avoid getting kicked out. it seemed to be really bad last night- I got kicked like 4 times. ARRR SHIVER me TImbers GRRR ARRRR FUKN EA arrr! You are not your internet connection?

Amen to that Apache, But I haven't lost connection to a game in a long time, But the other day I tryed to create my own room, TheBlackGold ranked and It wouldn't let me..It was so fucking retarded.
